review

After reading Steve Job's stories, I think he is definitely the guy that we all should look up to. Although he had his ups and downs through out his life, he still became a very famous and successful man. The things I learned from him are that we should follow our hearts and never say never. He always did what he wanted to do and always lived every day as if it was his last day so he could cherish every moment and do something meaningful. Also, he was very diligent and never gave up even though he had encountered his hardest times which was getting fired from his own company. I really admire Steve Job, thinking of the obstacles that he had overcome really surprised me. He is absolutely our role model and his spirit will always be with us.

LYRICS

Crashing, hit a wall
Right now I need a miracle
Hurry up now, I need a miracle
Stranded, reaching out
I call your name but you're not around
I say your name but you're not around

I need ya, I need ya, I need you right now
Yeah, I need you right now
So don't let me, don't let me, don't let me down
I think I'm losing my mind now
It's in my head, darling, I hope
That you'll be here, when I need you the most
So don't let me, don't let me, don't let me down
D-don't let me down

Don't let me down
Don't let me down, down, down
Don't let me down, don't let me down, down, down

Running out of time
I really thought you were on my side
But now there's nobody by my side

I need ya, I need ya, I need you right now
Yeah, I need you right now
So don't let me, don't let me, don't let me down
I think I'm losing my mind now
It's in my head, darling, I hope
That you'll be here, when I need you the most
So don't let me, don't let me, don't let me down
D-don't let me down

Don't let me down
Don't let me down, down, down
Don't let me down, down, down
Don't let me down, down, down
Don't let me down, don't let me down, down, down

Ooh, I think I'm losing my mind now, yeah
Ooh, I think I'm losing my mind now, yeah

I need ya, I need ya, I need you right now
Yeah, I need you right now
So don't let me, don't let me, don't let me down
I think I'm losing my mind now
It's in my head, darling, I hope
That you'll be here, when I need you the most
So don't let me, don't let me, don't let me down
Don't let me down

Yeah, don't let me down
Yeah, don't let me down
Don't let me down, oh, no
Said don't let me down
Don't let me down

Don't let me down
Don't let me down, down, down

REVIEW
The first time I heard this song was from Rima's video in which she was on a car ride. (Rima Zeidan is a model, a hostess, an actress and something else) I always listened to this song when I worked out. I felt like it could give me energy somehow so I could work harder. It's a really catchy song and it makes me feel relaxed and joyful even though the lyrics are kind of sad. The main reason that I like this song might be the style since I am a really big fan of electropop. I think it sounds like a win-win that I can not only listen to music but also learn English by listening to English songs, so why not?

#3 ESL Podcast 1250

 – Dealing With Bossy People

The reason why I chose this topic is that I've encountered bossy people before but I didn't know what to do and so I think it would be a good opportunity to learn. As far as I'm concerned, ESL Podcast.com is a really helpful website. Those materials are close to our daily life so it's very useful. What's more, the teacher speaks at a slow speed and explain all the vocabulary in detail so it's easier to comprehend what the contents are.

#1 Hola

Yo! Sup? Everyone. This is my first class of Computer Assisted Language Learning which is short for CALL. My English name is actually Casey but my classmates and I decided to have some cool names which are from Game of Thrones. Therefore, my temporary English name is Arya while my classmates' are Sansa, Robb, Theon, and Snow. We all are from Stark Family. Our motto is "Winter is coming" and our symbol is a dire wolf. I hope this class would be very interesting. See you next time!
